Today was day 3 of the volunteer trip and it was another day filled with activities and learning more about cows. The first thing we did this morning was we fed the cows grass from the grass that we collected the day before. We spread out the grass making it easier for the cows to eat. They seemed to be enjoying their breakfast! Then, we cut more grass and then loaded it onto the truck and then spread the grass once again in a different area of the farm for the cows. Then, we transported three cows to a different area of the farm which took quite a while because sometimes they run really fast but then sometimes they stop moving. After our lunch break and after we were well rested, we drove to another place where they are planning to build a new farm. Not only did I learn about building a farm and taking care of the cows, I learned more about my teammates throughout the lunch breaks and car drives which gave me new perspectives. I think teamwork really helps with all the work we do. Tomorrow is the last full day of volunteering so I will do my best!
